Restarting Iskra's work

Welcome to Iskra's webpage and blog !

Iskra(translated from macedonian: Spark) is a nonprofit organization located in Skopje, Macedonia. Even though this nonprofit has existed since 2002, only recently the focus of the work has become specific advocacy for assistive technology as a means to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities, specifically children and adults with cerebral palsy and their immediate familiy.

By launching this website and blog, the team at Iskra hopes to yet again establish an important impact in the lives of people with disabilities in Macedonia.

One of the steps we are taking in order to achieve that is this blog. Written in Macedonian and English, we will offer informative posts and videos about cerebral palsy and everything connected to it, from simple explanations of the condition to raise awareness about it, to information about potential methods for improvement of cerebral palsy.
